I’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively since I was a child (see where I've been). From my travels, I learned that different cultures tend to solve problems in different ways. Even common objects like doors, toilets, power outlets, and cars are designed differently from place to place. Yet there are universal designs that are consistent no matter where you go. Each city I’ve visited and each culture I’ve experienced has transformed my perspective on design. I see the diversity of people and cultures I grew up with as a resource for better design. I want to create experiences and products with a strong emphasis on simplicity, functionality and inclusivity.
